- Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.

Data Storage and Security
Your conversation history is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to the content of your conversations. Account credentials are stored securely using industry-standard encryption.

- AI Service Providers: Your questions are processed by AI services to generate responses. Questions are not stored by these providers beyond what is necessary to generate a response.
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For payment processing of subscriptions.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Deletion: You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. This will delete your account information from our servers.
- Local Data: You can clear your conversation history at any time within the App, or by deleting the App from your device.
- Analytics Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics collection in the App settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Crescent is an AI-powered application that provides information and answers to questions about Islam, drawing from the Quran, Hadith, and Islamic scholarship. The App is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
Important Disclaimers
Not Religious Authority: The App is not a substitute for consultation with qualified Islamic scholars, imams, or religious authorities. For matters requiring religious rulings (fatwa), personal spiritual guidance, or serious religious questions, we strongly encourage you to consult with qualified scholars in your community.
AI Limitations: Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information provided is correct or complete.
No Professional Advice: The App does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always consult appropriate professionals for such matters.
Subscriptions and Payments
Free and Premium Tiers: The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment will be charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Misrepresent information provided by the App as official religious rulings
Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Crescent Apps and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Quranic text and Hadith are part of the Islamic religious heritage.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crescent Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
